Thank you so much to NYX Cosmetics and ShopStyle for sponsoring this post!
Hi Loves! There are so many fall events coming up including cozy dinners out, holiday parties, weddings, and Thanksgiving! So, I have been playing around with my makeup to find a style that is a little more glam than my everyday, but still feels like myself! I used the NYX Cosmetics Love Lust Disco Collection to create a smoky, shimmery lid and glowy, peachy cheeks! The collection includes 3 eyeshadow palettes (rose, gold, and silver), a blush palette, and a highlight palette!
I love that NYX Cosmetics is super affordable without compromising on quality! I even have a 20% discount for you with code “Leena” to use on this collection until 11/30! My favorites are the Rose and Play and Livin Lavish eyeshadow palettes, which I used to create this look!
NYX Cosmetics is a cruelty-free brand committed to supporting pro makeup artistry that is accessible to all. I love that they celebrate diversity and self-expression!
Here are a few tips I have learned recently that has really taken my Fall makeup game to the next level:
Eyes:
- For a wearable smokey eye, start with lighter brown shades and blend each one thoroughly before adding in darker colors! Add in the deeper tones sparingly and blend, blend, blend! I like to add a pop of shimmer on the lids with my fingertip because it packs on the most pigment and shine!
- I love the Rose and Play and the Livin Lavish eyeshadow palettes because they have 10 shades in a variety of mattes and shimmers and you can create so many different looks!
- To keep the look daytime appropriate, I skipped on eyeliner and mascara, but you could add both if you want to vamp up the look for night time!
Lips:
- Instead of looking for a darker lipstick for fall, try a darker lipliner with your everyday nude lipstick! It helps keep your face looking fresh and bright while still adding in the seasonal colors!
Cheeks:
- If you’re going for a smokey eye like I did, try keeping it the focus of the makeup look by going more subtle on the cheeks and lips! I used the middle peach shade in the Sweet Cheeks Palette and the far right highlight shade in the Love Lust Disco Highlight Palette to create a subtle peachy glow!
With Love,
Leena
